Safety Spring for the Scroll Saw arms. This safety spring that attaches to the rear of both saw arms to help prevent damage when a blade breaks.
*When replacing, tighten the screw, then back it out approximately 1/4 turn so that the spring can still pivot slightly. This helps prevent premature breakage.

my manual and due to the age of my scroll saw bushton mfg tried in earnest to help me. calling me back twice with advice but still couldn't help, i must give bushton a five star rating with their help. i got it fixed finally with their help with my older hawk saw and intuition.

Soring was exactly what I needed to fix my saw. no issues at all. Price was reasonable but shipping was 2-3 times it's cost. that is another issue.

This item was missing when I purchased my (used) scroll saw. I feel a lot more confident with it there. A good fit and easy to install.
