The Atom Pop is a stove top popcorn popper. It makes 2 1/2 quarts of popped corn.​​ The conical shape and aluminum bowl allow the popcorn to be popped without stirring or shaking. 
 
The popped kernels are pushed up away from the heat and the aluminum dissipates the heat so the corn does not burn easily.​ It is as convenient as microwave popcorn and is healthier without the additives. The bowl measures 10 1/2" in diameter at the top and the base is 3 3/4" in diameter.  
 
The handles are made from real wood for attractiveness and durability. The Atom Pop can be cleaned in a dishwasher. If you burn your corn, you can scour the bowl with any cleanser.
 
​Please note that the Atom Pop cannot be used on induction cooktop ranges.
 
*To use non-induction cookware on an induction cooktop, you will need to use an "induction converter disk" or "diffuser plate" which is a magnetic plate that sits on the cooktop and allows heat transfer from the induction element to your non-induction cookware when placed on top of it; essentially acting as a bridge between the cooktop and your pan, enabling it to heat up even though it is not magnetic itself.

    Just like they promise, you don't have to shake it. You just put it on a hot burner and let it pop on its own. It leaves nearly no unpopped kernels. And it's really fast too!
    I also really like that because the bottom of the popper is so small, you use a lot less oil than you would with an ordinary pot. And it's so fun to see the lid get pushed up by popcorn.
    But even though they say it's dishwasher safe, the wooden handles don't seem to like it. It's pretty fast to handwash, so I don't mind.

    We love our Atom Pop Popcorn Popper and have gifted it to family and friends. I certainly appreciate the remarkable design that allows for simple and complete popping. Just one word of caution: NEVER use too high a heat; the sensitive aluminum cannot handle it.
