Features of the BM-20
Long 7/8" blade stroke for faster, cleaner cuts that need little or no sanding.
Quick change lower blade holder with two position lower arm gives greater cutting flexibility; faster and easier saw blade positioning.
Large cast aluminum table (13 1/2" diameter) provides a large work area in front of the centrally located blade for better control and more support of your work.
Work table tilts a full 45° both left and right.
Pressure foot gives maximum control even when making the intricate cuts scroll saw users love to make.
Precision crafted steel base and heavy duty legs for greater stability and long lasting durability.
Use any 5" pinless blade to make clean, polished cuts that need little to no sanding.
Front cam over tension release of the upper blade holder allows you to change blades in seconds which allows you to make inside cuts more quickly and easily than before.
Both the bottom and top blade holder clip into place allowing you to have either blade holder pre loaded for quick blade change out.
Rear cam over for quick release and precise setting of blade tension.
Table-forward design is comfortable to sit at with a shop stool.
Blade feeds from top or bottom.
Adjustable nose allows you to tilt the blade slightly for more aggressive cutting.
Safety spring and stop for safer operation even if the blade breaks.
Flex bellows and Loc-line keeps the cutting area clear for greater visibility and safety.
Machined and casted parts for quality to last a lifetime.
Totally enclosed DC motor gives you complete control of the speed throughout the entire speed range. The motor is TENV to keep out harmful dust. The controller is designed to yield full torque over the entire speed range without over-heating or stalling.
Engineered to run quiet and limit vibration.
Made in the United States of America.
Great product and tremendous customer servuce

I highly recommend this product. Solid, well constructed machine with a very smooth blade stroke. The flexibility with blade angle is unmatched and provides numerical types of different cuts. Customer Service is incredible. I needed the saw within a specific time frame and and they made it happen. This saw cost a little more than most but you get a much better more versatile saw .

I purchased my 1st Hawk in 1992. My friend talked me into selling it to him and buying a new one. That original saw is still running, only replaced the control module. I like some of the changes that Bushton has made to the saw. It is even more precise than the RBI. I have way better control at slower speeds. I highly recommend this saw.

A real joy to use, this is the best scroll saw I’ve ever used - two week wait for delivery - good communication - excellently packaged and very little assembly - heavy and extremely stable - slight powder coating scratches from screws and washers used to attach the base to the shipping plywood base which unfortunately is not covered by the heads of the carriage bolts used to secure the base to the legs although this is purely cosmetic - also the sticker with tension rod adjustment positions is outdated and different from the manual - but as you can tell, you have to look hard to find anything negative about this piece of fine machinery.
Very nice machine

Very nice machine once it finally arrived. Major delay in shipping as they had to wait for new motors. Once it arrived it was very easy to but together and works great. I use it to cut angle rings in hardwood for stacked ring bowls. I am cutting 1 3/4" hardwood using a #9 blade and it works wonderfully. Love the saw.
Have not received it yet

I have an RBI one that is in storage while I'm overseas. Ordered this one because I need it and I will not get our storage items until we PCS back or the states.
Normally shipping UPS Bushton when the extra mile to break down the package to go in the US Mail. I have received the legs and bet the rest will be coming soon.
When I get it I will write a review comparing it to my RBI one.

Great saw. Cuts very smoothly with excellent control. Well built. Very little vibration. Only complaint is lack of dust collection.
